From settled to Nomads tour will show you Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan cities which where included in the chain of Silk Road.






Day 1 Tashkent 

Arrival to Tashkent, meeting in the airport with the plate of  Uzbekistan tour operator «Dolores Travel Services». Journey starts from the capital of Uzbekistan, from warm and “city of bread” Tashkent.
Transfer to Tashkent Hotel, check-in. Leisure time. Night at Tashkent Palace 4 **** / Grand Orzu 3 *** hotels.

Day 2 Tashkent - Urgench - Khiva 

Breakfast at Tashkent hotel.
Caravans come to China from West to East and our route starts from Khiva, museum city under the sky. 05:00 transfer to the airport, 07:00 flight to Urgench, 08:40 arrival and transfer to Khiva (30 km). Khiva Hotel accommodation.
If you ever dreamed of getting into Eastern fairy tale, than your dreams come true. City tour in Khiva around: Ichan-Kala architectural complex (XII-XIX), the Residence of the last Khiva Khan including Ismail Khodja Mausoleum, Muhammed Amin Khan Madrassah, Kunya-Ark Castle (XVI-XVI), Kalta Minor Tower, Tash-Hovli Palace (XIX), Pahlavan Mahmud Mausoleum(XIV-XVIII), Juma Mosque (X) and other Khiva tourist sights. Narrow streets, carved “ayvans” veranda and doors, majestic minarets and mausoleums, heritage and arts –all kept with care in this city as great treasure.

Day 3 Khiva - Bukhara (550 km)

Breakfast at the hotel.
In old days, route from Khiva to Bukhara lasted more than a month. Today it takes 6 - 7 hours by vehicle, through mysterious red desert “Kyzyl-Kum”, the territory of “Khorezm”, which was called in the past as a “State of Thousand and Hundred Cities”. What kind of secrets are buried in this desert, this is something what archeologists and historians will be trying to find in the future. Meanwhile, you are invited to view the exotic landscapes of desert with roaming camels, nomadic yurts and old Amudarya River (Oxus).
Arrival to Bukhara,  Bukhara Hotel check-in.

Day 4 Bukhara

Breakfast at Bukhara hotel.
Holy Bukhara, homeland of Ibn Sino (Avicenna), loved city of all saints and worldwide known philosopher – cheery Hodja Nasriddin, lively, noisy and luxurious capital of Emirs, rich man of all nationals and patrons. When you hear “Splendor of East” – it is Bukhara!

City tour in Bukhara: Ismael Samani Mausoleum (the tomb of representatives of Samanids’ dinasty at the end of IX - beginning of X), Chashma Ayub Mausoleum (Spring of Job - XIV), Bolo-Hauz Mosque (beginning of XX), Citadel Ark (IV) – city in a city, Poi Kalon Ensemble (Pedestal of the Great), religious heart of Sacred Bukhara, consists of Minaret Kalon (XII), Kalyan Mosque (XII), Miri Arab Madrassah (XVI),  Ulugbek’s Madrassah (1417), Madrassah Nodir Divanbeghi, Abdul Aziz Khan Madrassah, Magoki-Attori Mosque (dated XII-XVI centuries), Lyabi-Khauz Ensemble (dated XIV-XVII centuries), Kosh-Madrassah Ensemble (consisting of two resisting Madari-Abdullakhan Madrassah (Abdullakhan’s mother) and Abdullakhan Madrassah. Chor-Minor (four minarets). Free time: we advise you to visit Bukhara Dome Bazaars (dated 15-16 centuries): Toki Saraffon (the Dome of Moneychangers), Toki-Telpak Furushon (the Dome of Cap makers), Toki Zargaron (the Dome of jewellers) and Tim Abdullakhan  (the Center of  silk).

Day 5 Bukhara

Breakfast at the hotel.
There are Rulers’ palaces and mausoleums of Sheikhs are located out of city in Bukhara. A trip out of Bukhara city for a visit to Bahouddin Nakshbandi Mausoleum (dated XVI-XIX century), to the sepulchers of his mother and his preceptor (dated XIV), Mausoleum Chor-Bakr (dated X century), visit to summer residence Sitorai Mokhi Khosa (dated XIX century). There you can see where Emirs of Bukhara spent their time during long and hot summers while taking a rest. Feed some bread to peacocks and make a pilgrimage to holy sites.

Free time for purchasing of souvenirs and east spices. We advise to visit the Gold Bazar.  Night at Grand Bukhara  4 **** / Sasha and  Son 3 *** hotels.

Day 6 Bukhara - Samarkand (270 km) 

Breakfast at Bukhara hotel.
Transfer to Samarkand in the morning through Vobkent city with survey of Vabkent Minaret (dated XII century) and through Gizhduvan city with survey of Ulugbek Madrassah, Abd-al-Khalik Gizhduvani Mazar and visiting a workshop of the famous Gizhduvani potter.
Before entrance to Samarkand we will stop at the Ismail Al Bukhari Mausoleum.
Transfer to Samarkand, hotel check-in.
Free time. Night in President Palace 4 **** / Malika Prime  3 *** hotels.

Day 7 Samarkand 

Breakfast at Samarkand hotel.
The science and art of ancient East where concentrated in Samarkand since olden times. Multinational and tolerant – it is spoken here that: “there are many stairs leading to the sky” and there is no difference in what language you pray.
Full day city tour in Samarkand: Visiting of morning East Siab Bazaar, Registan Square - Madrassah Ulug Bek (XV), Madrassah Shir-Dor (XVII), Madrassah Tillya-Kori (XVII),  Mausoleum Guri Emir - Tamerlane's Tomb (XIV-XV), Bibi Khanum Mosque (XIV-XV).
Excavations and Museum of ancient city of Afrosiab. Architectural Complex Shakh-i-Zinda (dated XI-XV century) and Ulug Bek Observatory (XV), the Mausoleum of prophet Daniel.
Free time visiting carpet factory Hudzhum - handmade silk carpets OR workshop visiting on manufacturing of a papyrian paper (handmade). Night in President Palace 4 **** / Malika Prime 3 *** hotels.

Day 8 Samarkand – Tashkent (350km)

Breakfast at Samarkand hotel.
In the morning transferring to Tashkent (4 hours). Return to Tashkent, back to 21st century. Tashkent is one of the most beautiful cities in Central Asia, where antiquity and modernity coexist completing each other. Tashkent hotel accommodation.
After a dinner city tour through modern Tashkent: Navoi Theater Square, The Opera and Ballet Theatre of Alisher Navoi, the Tashkent Television tower, the Memorial complex, People’s Courage Monument (the unique architecturally-art complex devoted to the topic of liquidation of Tashkent earthquake consequences in 1966). Free time - Tashkent Metro.
Tour to Amir Temur Square: monument of the great commander, Amir Temur, the well-known Tashkent chiming clock and Hotel Uzbekistan, the Palace of Forums, "Broadway" - avenue of artists, with the inexpensive souvenirs exposed for sale, and also on fountains and modern monuments of the capital.
Free time at Alay bazaar. Night at Tashkent Palace 4 **** / Grand Orzu 3 *** hotels.

Day 9 Tashkent

Breakfast at the hotel.
Continuation of the city tour through Tashkent: State Museum of Timurid Dinasty, Independence Square where are located: monuments of Independence and Happy Mother, Arch Ezgulik (the Arch of kind and noble aspirations) with storks rising in a height, Memorial Complex to the Great Patriotic War.
Further excursion through old part of the city: Visiting the religious complex Khasti Imam: consisting of Kaffal Shashi Mausoleum (XV centure), Barak Khan Madrassah (XVI centure), Muy-Mubarak Mosque - storehouse of the well-known Koran of Khalif Osman and gold hair of prophet Muhammad; Dzhuma-mosque of Khodja Akhrar Vali, the State Museum of Applied Arts of Uzbekistan, Kukeldash Madrassah (XVI), Abdulkasim Madrassah (XIX).
Free time for purchases in CHORSU bazar and souvenir shops. Night at Tashkent Palace 4 **** / Grand Orzu 3 *** hotels.

Day 10 - Tashkent – Ferghana (340 km)

Breakfast at the hotel
Transfer to Fergana, by the way excursion travel tour in Kokand: Khudayar Khan Mosque, the World Mosque, Dakhmai Shahon Mausoleum, transfer to Rishtan: a private potter's workshop, transfer to Fergana. Hotel check-in.
Night at Club 777 Hotel.

Day 11 - Fergana – Dustlik  - Osh - Bishkek 

Breakfast at the hotel.
Transfer to Uzbek- Kyrgyz border “Dustlik”. Passing the border to the Kyrgyzstan territory. Local English speaking guide will meet you on the Kyrgyzstan side of the border and after essential procedures you will arrive to Osh (3000 years old) known as one of the destination points of the Silk Road. Hotel/guest house check-in. A city tour with visiting a holy Sulaiman mountain and local museums – the Museum of Babur, the Silk Road Museum.
Evening flight to Bishkek (18:00).
On arrival – meeting at the airport, transfer to hotel and check-in.
Night at Ak Keme Hotel.

Day 12 - Bishkek – Issyk Kul (270 km) 

Breakfast at the hotel and departure. Transfer to the North coast of Issyk-Kul Lake. On the way – visiting a historic complex Buran which consists of Buran Tower, mausoleum and museum of petroglyphs on the open air.
On arrival – visiting a Regional Museum and Museum of Petroglyphs on the open air.
It is possible by the willing of guests to organize equestrian plays and horses contests – one of the most beloved entertainment of Kyrgyz people in the past.
Boat driving (by willing – extra payment on-place). Hotel check-in.

Day 13 - Issyk Kul  – Bishkek (270 km) 

After breakfast at the hotel you may spend short time on the shore of Issyk Kul Lake.
Departure to Bishkek. On the way - stop in Tamchi. Village where native people will demonstrate you a process of making felted fabric. You may go for a drive on horses (by willing – extra payment on-place).
On arrival to Bishkek city tour with visiting Ala-Too Square, a Historic Museum, a Victory Square, a Philarmonic Square, a Manas Monument and parks.
During a supper time a folk concert may be organized – traditional songs in hand of local group with music instruments – jew's harp, temir harp, Kyrgyz flute (by willing – extra payment on-place). Night at Ak Keme Hotel.

Day 14 - Bishkek – the next direction 

Breakfast at the hotel . Transfer to the airport and flight back.
